Business Central Sales Representative Position

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to drive new business for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role is ideal for someone with experience selling ERP solutions into the manufacturing and/or distribution sectors. The right candidate understands business processes, can consultatively guide prospects through their digital transformation journey, and is hungry to close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new Business Central opportunities within manufacturing and distribution verticals
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of ERP prospects through outbound outreach, referrals, events, and marketing-generated leads
  • Conduct discovery calls, solution demos (with pre-sales support), and proposal presentations
  • Understand client pain points and articulate how Business Central can solve operational challenges
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure seamless prospect-to-client transitions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and CRM records
  • Represent PrenticeWorx at industry events, webinars, and partner functions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling ERP or business software solutions (Business Central, Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, Acumatica, or similar)
  • Proven track record selling into manufacturing or distribution companies
  • Strong consultative sales skills with an ability to map technology to business value
  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 ecosystem a strong plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Microsoft partners or within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Understanding of operational workflows in manufacturing and distribution (inventory, order management, BOM, etc.)
  • College degree or equivalent experience
